Photoshop Shapes

Today I have been experimenting with photoshop shapes - and I am fascinated and happy! There are loads of free shapes on the web, and I used my free time at work today to play around with some snowflakes.
Everybody tells me how important it is to think ahead, and so I am full of ideas for nice winter designs - something like "I love snow" or "I love winter" surrounded by different shapes of snowflakes.

At home I am working with photoshop Elements, the younger brother of Photoshop, and I was curious whether it has the shapes functionality as well. It has! So I tried out some leaves and trees - maybe a nice autumn design with multicolored leaves and something like "life is colorful" on it.

I've got the feeling that this is totally different to putting my photos on mugs, cards or magnets. There is much more play in it, moving things around, trying out different colors, different fonts. It is so much FUN!

A beautiful bookmark

I love books. I devour them. I am usually reading more than one at a time, so I am always looking for pretty bookmarks.

I love Berlin T-shirt

This is the Deutscher Dom. Together with the Französischer Dom it is one of the famous buildings on the Gendarmenmarkt, the place in the middle of Berlin. This place is surrounded by restaurants and cafe places, and in the summer you can sit outside and enjoy the Italian-like atmosphere.

Waterlilies Apron

This could be a gift for a gardening dad! The photo of the water lilies was taken in one of the big parks of Berlin, the so-called Britzer Garten (Britz Garden). There is a small lake with water lilies, and sometimes you can see a big carp swimming underneath the green leaves.

Lilacs

Every year in May you can find blooming lilacs at almost every corner in Berlin. They bloom in dark violet, light purple and white.

In front of the house where I live is a lilac bush, and I had to take photos of it when it was in full bloom. And on last Thursday I could not refrain from creating Zazzle products with my photos, although I know that I am bit a late - May has long gone, and the lilac bushes only show their green leaves now.
